I would like to pass on some interesting aspects from your American Cancer Society. Then ask you to think of a giant wheel,.. a'Wheel of Life". The center of the wheel the hub-is the ultimate goal, the conquest of cancer. Each of the spokes represents a different approach to that goal through almost every known scientific discipline. They seek answers to questions such as: What is the nature of Cancer? What are it's causes? How can It be detected in its early stages? What properties of cancer cells make them vulnerable to which chemicals? How can we use the body's natural immunization mechanisms to counteract cancer? and each of these points of inquiry is broken down into areas too complex for the untrained mine to grasp fully But something we ALL can understand is that this research < involves a lot of money, some of which must come from our contributions. So please keep the "Wheel of Life" turning. Fight cancer with a checkup and give as generaously as possible when you are. contacted.
