Cholera Wipes Out Pigs
The largest loss of a pig herd
lately has been reported by Le
onard Jenkins of the Friendship
Church community. Eighteen of
his herd of 20 swine died of chol
era last week. The pigs were
vaccinated when the cholera be
came evident, but the remedy
was too late to save but two of
them.
