Men as well as women can
learn something about home
beautification neat Tuesday, ac
cording to Home Agent Sue
Brickhouse. On that day John
Harris, State Horticulturist, will
visit the county and give two
talks and demonstrations. His
visit is sponsored by Lenoir
County’s Home Demonstration
Clubs. His first appearance will
be at the Wheat Swamp Chris
tian Church at 10:30 a.m., where
he will help the ladies of that
club in their project of beautify
ing the church grounds, as well
as working on their individual
home problems.
The afternoon part of the pro
gram will take place at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Lott West in the
Sand Hill Community. The main
emphasis of the two meetings
will' be on the individual land
scaping and home beautification
problems of those attending, Miss
Brickhouse said. Everyone is in
vited to attend at least one of the
meetings. Indications are now*

number of husbands, as well as
wives, win be. present at the
meetings.
