One phase project in to dictate radio production in Carolina Experiment Station and the Research Division of the American Tobacco Company. The tobacco came from seven farms in Lenoir, Greene and Pitt Counties, where it had been grown W»*r the .close supervi sion of tbs Experiment Stations. Included in the lots, amounting to more than 15,000 pounds, were several of the old-line seed types such as Bottom Special and a number of 4ie newly-developed types. From the selection of the seed through the final manufacturing process the tobacco will have an exacting, case history for way type ana grade.
