Jones Rotary Clubs To Hbnor Farm Contest Families on Tuesday Three Rotary Clubs of Jones1 County are making plans for a gala Farmers’ Night celebration in the Trenton Agriculture Building on Tuesday, December 6, it has been announced by County Agent A. V. Thomas. The guests of the Trenton, Pollocks ville and Maysville clubs will be the 27 farm families of the coun ty who have completed their 1949 “Better Farming for Better Living” projects, sponsored by the Tide Water Power Company. The cash award to the winning family, and other fitting awards of cash, merchandise and other items will be made to other fam ilies. The presentations will be made by Milton Hines of Tren ton, county council chairman for the contest. Neil Bolton, farm agent of the sponsoring power company, will also take a part in the program. ine principal speaker ot tne evening will be the Rev. R. L. Pugh of New Bern, superintend ent of the Craven County schools.
