Originally 25 were scheduled to make the 'trip but four have been removed from the lists due to having I joined some branch of the armed forces earlier or due tp marriage prior to getting their draft no tice. Those who left Wednesday morning were: Stanley Allen Spence, Claude Jones Jr., James Cottle, Saul Efourd Moore, Levi Roberson, Cecil Carl King, Gar land /Williams Jr., Elijah Hall Jr., Leslie Jenkins, Guy Christopher Loftin, George Williams Jr. Albert Earl Yates, Albert Lee Killingsworth, Rodolph C. Davis, Matthew Dockford Meadows, Isaiah Meadows, Charles Ray Henderson, Monroe Flowers, Henry Howard, William Grant Hill and Melvin Lee Cheston. Mrs. Brock, wife of Jack Brock and a native of P&rkton, reminds that it is fortunate that, she is a Scot, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Miss Pollock is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy O. Pollock of Jones County. She has two brothers, Swindell of Nor folk and V. L. pollock of Trenton. Her twin sister, Mrs. Leon (Zoe) Parker of the Haves Field com munity, Mrs. Woodrow (Nannie) Brinson of Kenansville, Mrs. George (Julia) Harriett of Bel haven and Mrs. J.
