Army PTC Melvin E. Wade, 22,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Z. D. Hines,
Route 2, Kinston, is serving in
Korea with the 3d Infantry Div

The "Rock of the Marne” divi
sion, which saw bitter fighting
in the Iron Triangle and at Out
post Harry, is now training as
part of the U. S. security force on
the peninsula.
