nic Thuwday afternoon, July 26,
at Cedar Point Beach, near Swans
boro. Between fifty and sixty Mays
vilie citizens enjoyed several hours
of swimming and socializing before
the picnic supper was served at
5 P.M.

swimming at Atlantic Beach, and
then drove to Fort Macon for the
Wiener roast. Most of the young
people ended the evening by ■ at
tending a movie in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Nido Hamilton
On Tuesday evening July 24,
Miss Janie Henderson entertained
Mrs. Nido Hamilton with a stork
shower la the home at Mrs. Bill
Henderson.
Upon arrival Mrs. Hamilton was
presented with a lovely corsage.
Several games were played. Prizes
were given to Mrs. Gerald Pelle
tier, Mrs. L. S. Meigigs and Mrs.
Paul Nunn. Mrs. Hamilton opened
the shower of gifts presented to
her which were both pretty and
useful.
The guests were invited into the
dining room wfaert, from a table
with a pink linen tablecloth, cen
tered with a pink, blue and white
stork arrangement and lighted by
pink candles; sandwiches, pick
les, decorated cakes, and pink
punch was served to the 36 guests
that were present to enjoy the oc

two weeks, leaving last F’riday,
with Mrs. Vashtl Yeoman and Bar
bara Yeoman accompanying them
for a brief vi^t to Florida.
