During three progres sions Mrs. Franck served soft drinks and peanut brittle to the following guests; Mesdames Les lie Parker, Hazel Turnage, Fred Foscue, MilMs Wrigbt, Fred Pip pin, Wilson Harriett, and Marvin Thomas. Mrs. Harriett won high score and Mrs. Turnage received consolation prize. After the game, the guests were served chocolate pie and coffee. GRADY GIRLS, 66 Thursday night, January 30, the Jones Central girls beat the B. F. Grady girls by a score of 68 to 66. At the end of the third quarter Jones Central held a 15 point lead. They saw that lead whittled down as the B. F. Grady girls tied up the score. The game went into a two-minute overtime. The score was tied at the' endof this over time. Another two-.minute over time was played. Peggy Craft:1 was fouled and she sank both foul shots giving Jones Central the victory. Betty Jones was high scorer with 34 points. JONES CENTRAL, i7 B. F. GRADY, 45 Thursday night, January 30, the Jones Central boys got back on the winning road by beating B. F. Grady, 67 to 45. The game was tight until the third quarter when the Jones Cen tral boys started to pull ahead. In the fourth quarter, Jones Central scored 27 points, while B. F. Grady only scored 13 poims. Starters for the game were: Don:h Mallard, Linwood Griffin, Clifton Hood, Joe Lee Nobles, and James Foy. High scorer was James Foy with 23 points.' JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET Ti.e Junior Class of Jones Cen tral High School held their Class Meeting on January 31, 1958.
