Jeune and Verona, parents and
leaders.

ey Keyes, Robert Curtin and Jer
ry Mills, were given special rec
ognition for having completed re
quirements for second class scout.
The group then gathered across
the street from the school house
before a huge camp fire. Rev. J. T.
Smith, pastor of the Methodist
church, led in a closing prayer and
the scout mothers served refresh
ments.
Next week the boys plan to at
tend the Boy Scout Camporee at
New Bern where between 3500 to
400 scouts and leaders are ex
pected.
Mrs. Amy Raiford is
Hostess for Bridge
Mrs. Any Raiford entertained at
one table of bridge at her home
last Monday evening.
She served cake and coffee to
Mrs. Alma Shaiw, Mrs. Thelma
Jenkins and Miss Eylvia Jenkins.
