Humphrey presented the prgtram on “The World oh Our Doorstep”. - Mrs. Claudia Mattocks Hostess to Her Club ■ Mrs. Claudia Mattocks enter tained at her home last W'ednes ' day with two tables of bridge. Before three progressions she \y served blueberry pie, whipped cream and - coffee to Mesdames Fannie Foscue, Frances Hay,1 Kay Jenkins, Katherine Holden, Evelyn Pelletier, Sarah Pelletier and Fannie Pruitt. During play, she served nuts and Cokes. ' Prises went to Mrs. Sarah Pellet ier, Mrs. Evelpn Pllfetier and Mrsi Foscue. jMethodiafc Women Meet on Tuesday The Methodists’ W.S.C.S. met last Tuesday evening ait the church. The meeting was opened with a hymn followed' by the devotional given by Mrs. Sam Pruitt. The’ program was presented by Mesdames Thejma Foscue, Doris Curtin, Joan Thompson, Sara Nell "Thompson and Qahdia Mattocks. In the absence of both the presi dent and vice president, the meet , was presided over Mrs. J. R.
