I’ve just returned from a week at the beach with my cousin, Jim Sabiston, from Jacksonville and two of my aunts, Mrs. Alice Lee George, of Comfort and, Mrs. Sal lie Sabiston, of Jacksonville. I had such a. great time that I’m going back this weekend! We have some very exciting news this week. "Creagh Bell and Robert West left July 16 for a European tour. They wiH travel to New York by bus and will arrive there on July 17. They will tour the city and will depart that afternoon by plane for Glasgow, Scotland. While there, they will also visit Edinburgh. They will then tour London, Par is, Brussels, Prague, Budapest, and West Berlin where they will also view East Berlin from the Berlin Wall. They will then tour Copenhagen and afterwards return to, London. They will depart for home on August 6 and will arrive August 7. On their tour they will visit many artistic and historical points of in terest as well as agricultural facil ities in the eight countries. The purpose of' the tour is to promote good will between the pepole of America and Europe and to represent our way of life to oth er nations. It is sponsored in part by the Future Farmers of Ameri ca. The two boys will travel with 11 other boys from North Carolina, and their leader wiH be Oliver O. Manning from Dunn. Also traveling with them will be 18 boys from Florida. We wish Creagh and Robert the best of luck and hope they will have a wonder ful time! Donna Mallard had a pool party for her birthday at Sue Booth’s Saturday afternoon. The teens en joyed swimming, cooking cut, and playing records from three o’clock ’til seven. Those attending were " - rnette Lowery, ’aula DeBruhl, lallard, Larry Brenda Jo Hi, Joey Mallard. Visiting the John Booths for the summer are Rose Marie and Joey Orfitelli and their mother, Mrs. Joseph M. Orfitelli, all of Fresno, California. i- _____ ' Wonder ......
