Wfcfl, we’re all back in school af ter a rest during the Thanksgiving (holidays. We’re anxious about our new basketball season, and we’re anticipating a good season.' It seems that the “Teen Canteen” dancing championship is fated to stay in the O’Bryan family. Three weeks ago, Mike O’Bryan and Bren da Hill won the contest. Last Satur day night, Robin O’Bryan and Sue Noble took first-place honors. We congratulate them all. We also hope (that Nancy and Johnny realize that they’re next in line. For several weeks now, many of the students have been trying in every way possible to find out when Mr. Shelton Justice’s wedding was (his French students have tried the hardest). However, just when we thought that we had everything figured out, he fooled us all! Mr. Justice was married to Miss Stella Banks on Wednesday, November Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Even though most of us didn’t get to throw rice (some of us did), we’d like to wish much happiness to the newlyweds. If Pollocksville seems a little run down and dilapidated, or in other words "wrecked”, there’s a very good reason for it. Mary Ann De Bruhl and Betty Jo Hudson were there last weekend! There’s quite a bit of disagree ment around J. C. as to whether Duke or U.N.C. is the best school. I plan to take a poll of the stu dents and settle this argument once arid for all. I’ll publish the results in this column. Wonder. How Allen Mallard and Mary Ann DeBruhl have been getting along lately ? How Nancy O’Bryan likes her new “Garr”? Who drew Annette Lowery’s name ? If Betty Becton and Julia McCoy enjoyed their trip? Wlhy Mary Dixon can’t travel any farther than just from Comfort to Richlands? How Kathy Roper got home from New Bern last Friday night? If anyone at J. C. will have a special announcement to make soon ? iitit# **1 ■ •v< i rt Now is the time to think of Christmas 1964! Seems funny perhaps because Christmas 1963 is hardly here.
