NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN t a special election will be held in the Town of lyfaysville, North, Caro lina, on the 18th day of January, 1964, for the purpose of submitting the question whether-.the qualified voters of said Town shall approve the indebtedness to be incurred by the issuance of bonds of said Town Of the maximum principal amount o* £214,000 to finance the construction of a water system maintained by the Town to provide a supply of water to said Town and its inhabitants in* eluding an elevated water storage tank, water treatment facilities, wells and water mains an distribu tion lines, together with the acquisi tion and installation of the equip ment, machinery and apparatus re quired therefore and the acquisition of the necessity land or rights-in land, and a pax to be levied for the payment thereof, and also the bond ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of said Town on De cember 3, 1963, which authorizes the issuance of said bonds for such pur pose and the levy of such tax. I he ballots to be used at said election shall contain the words “For the ordinance authorizing $214,000 of bonds to finance the construction of a water supply system to be maintained by the Town to provide a supply of water to said Town and its inhabitants, including an elevated water storage tank, water treatment facilities, wells and water mains and distribution lines, together with the acquisition and installation of the equipment machinery and ap« paratus required therefore and the acquisition of the necessary land or irights-iu-land, and a tax therefor" and the words “Against the ordin ance authorizing $214,000 of bonds to finance the construction of a water (supply system to be main tained by the Town to provide a supply of water to said Town and its inhabitants, including an ele vated. water storage tank, water treatment facilities, wells and water mains and distribution lines, to gether with the acquisition and in-' stallation of; the equipment, ma chinery and apparatus required therefore and the acquisition of the necessary land or rights-in-land, and a tax therefor” with squares in front of each proposition in one of which squares the voter may make an [xj mark to indicate his choice. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Mayisville, as follows: ^ : Section 1.
