Two hearings are scheduled' to be held; one to be held1 on Decem ber .17, 1969, in the Courtroom, Third Floor, County Building, Asheville, North Carolina, be ginning at 10:00 a.m. (E.S.T.); and the other on December 19, 1969, in the Auditorium, Lab oratory Building, State Board of Health, Raleigh, North Carolina, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) The rules, regulations, and standards to be considered in clude the control of open burn ing; the emission of dark smoke, and standards for sulfur dioxide and suspended particulate mat ter. All persons interested’ in the proposed rules, regulations, and standards are invited to attend one of the hearings and take part in the discussion. Persons desiring to be heard should no tify the Board in writing on or before the date of the hear ing. Written statements con cerning the proposed action may be presented at the hearing or filed with the Board within thir ty (30) days following the con clusion of the hearing.
