Capitola Ave., Kinston, has 'been award ed stiver wings upon graduation from Air Force navigator train ing at Mather AFB, Calif. lieutenant Walker is being assigned to„Wtestover AFB, Mass., for flying, duty with the 99th Air Refueling Squadron, a unit of the Strategic Air Command, America’s nuclear deterrent force of long range bombers and intercontinental ballistic mis-' ales. The lieutenant, a 1965 grad uate of Grainfer High School, received his B. S. degree in 1969 from the University of North Carolina and was commissioned there through the Air Force Re serve Officers Training Corps program. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
