BULADEAN DAVID HUGHES Funeral services for Dav id Hughes, age 71 years, who passed away at his home in Buladean, May 27. after a long illness, were held at the St. Pauls Baptist church of Buladean Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Sam Odom, assisted by Rev. Farrell Sparks officiated. Interment was in the Hughes cemetery. Mr. Hughes was born and reared at Buladean and had always lived there, where he farmed. He was well known throughout the county and loved and respected by all that knew him. He had been a member of St. Pauls Bap tist church for many years. She professed faith at an early age and joined the St. Pauls- Baptist church. In 1923 she was married toWalter Honey cutt, Jr., who survives he"^ with six children: Roberta, Doss, Clarence^ Laurema, Madeline and Eugene; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Hill of Buladean; three sisters; Mrs. Julia Burleson, Mrs'. Betty Garland, and Mrs. Rosa Street all of Buladean; six brothers- Frank, Jessie, John, Dave and Willie all of Buladean; Fred Hill of the U. S. Army. ' Quinn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. PIGEON ROOST sisted by Rev. J. C. Barnett. Webb Funeral home was in charge. Mr. and Mrs. Burns Gouge of Pennsylvania visited rela tives here last week. Mrs. Martha Dayton and ited her mother here last week. GILBERT WILLIS Gilbert Willis, 83, who died at Oxford, Pa., on Sunday, May 28th, after a short ill ness^ was brought here May 31 for burial beside his wife in the Barnett Cemetery who died about 20 years ago.
