HELENA JUNIORS TO GIVE PLAY Friday Night, Jan. 28th; In High School Auditorium The Junior class will present the iplay, “Deacon Dlubbs” on Friday night, January 28 in the school auditorium. The cast is as follows; Deacon Dubbs, from Sorgum Cen ter, West Virginny - Bruce Bar ton. Amos Coleman, his nephew, a young lawyer - Ennis Hudgins. Rawdon Crawley, a wolf in sheep’s clothing - Robert Rogers. Major McNutt, Auctioneer and Jus tice-of-Peace - Vanmeda Hall. Deuteronomy Jones, a country pro duct - Robert Moore. Rose Raleigh, the brave little school ma’am - Lottie Chandler. Miss Philipena Popover, with both eyes on the Deacon - Mildred Whitfield. Emily Dale, the richest girl in town - Willie Louise Clayton. i Trixie Coleman, full of mischief - Louise Knight. Yennie Yensen, the hired girl from Sweden - Mabel Fox. This is a rural comedy drama and is highly recommended for first class entertainment. The admission price will be 15c for children and 25c for adults. Farmers Meetings To Start At Bethel Hill January 31 A series of ten farm meetings, under the direction of A. G. Bul lard, teacher of agriculture at Beth el Hill high school, will begin at Bethel Hill Monday night, Jan. 31 at 7 o’clock. Meetings will be held in the agriculture building each night during the week for two weeks. All farmers in the Bethel Hill community are urged to come out and take part in these discussions. Farmers from Chub Lake and Dix on’s Store communities are invited to join this group. The lot No. 1 in the immediate corner being 312 feet on said Highway and 300 feet on said Sand Clay Road; lot No. 2 being 150 on said Highway and 200 feet on said Sand Clay Road, lots Nos. 3,4, 5,6, 7 and 8 all fronting 100 feet each said Highway, and lot No. 9 fronts 283 feet on said Highway, being in the shape of a triangle, and extends back on the line of D. W. Oakley 374 feet to rear comer of lot No. 8. All of these 9 lots run in a southwest direction from said intersection. Also 12 lots lying between the bed of the old road leading from Roxboro to South Boston and State Highway No. 55 and the lands of Albert Wrenn, 11 of said lots being 100 feet at each end, and lot No. 12 being 170 feet on one side and 195 feet on the other side. All of these 12 lots from 1 to 12 run in a north east direction. All of these lots are shown by survey of W. T. Buchan an, Surveyor, dated Dec. 27, 1937, and they may be seen in my office at any time by any one who is in terested, and they will be shown on day of sale.
