Chatham District Health department for 1939 has just been released by the asso ciation and copies are now avail able at the Health office in Rox boro. The report shows that heart diseases caused more deaths in Person County during 1939 than any other disease, 23 being the total number. Cerebral hemorrhage and ap oplexy claimed 16 as did pneu monia.
