About twenty members of the Womari’B Auxiliary of the Presby terian church attended the meet ing of Asheville Presbyterial Aux iliary held in the Presbyterian church of Black Mountain, April 27. Mrs. J. S. Nisbet taught the Bible study in Exodus at the meet ing of Holston Presbyterial held at Jefferson City, Tenn., April 29. Miss Katherine Carson of Knox ville, Tenn., president of Appa lachia Synodical has been the recent guest of Miss Leila Kirk land. Miss Marietta Yarnell, secre tary to Dr. J. R. McGregor, repre sented him in presenting the cause of the Montreat Association to the Norfolk (Va,,) Presbyterial Auxiliary. Miss Minnie Groves is visiting friends in South Carolina. She will later visit in Pennsylvania before returning to Montreat. The large dining hall at the Assembly inn was the scene of a brilliant event Monday evening when the juniors gave the tra ditional annual banquet to the graduation class of Montreat col lege. The long tables were beauti fully decorated to represent each month of the year. The program "A calendar of events” also repre sented each month approriate ly with songs, stories and enter tainment.
