Moore, Be hesda, Maryland. The Rev. Tom E. Walters, and Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Hatcher are attending the Southern Baptist Convention meeting in Memphis, Tennessee, this week. Dr. flight C. Moore, former recording, secretary for 33 years, is attending the sessions of the Southern Baptist Convention in Memphis, Tennessee, this week. He will return early next week. Dr. and Mrs. Moore retired to their home “Moore Haven” at Ridgecrest after twenty-five years in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was Editorial Secretary of the Southern Baptist Sunday School School board. Rev. J. Fred Stimson will oc cupy the pulpit of the Ridgecrest Baptist church Sunday morning. Mr. Stimson came to Ridgecrest from Southern Pines, North Caro lina, after a pastorate of sixteen years in that famous resort center. Before going to Southern Pines he was pastor at Ahoskie end other churches in North Caro lina and Virginia. He is graduate of Wake Forest college and the Southern Baptist Theological seminary at Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Biddix spent the week end in Statesville with Mr. and Mrs. Amos Sharpe.
