Society — Personals — Clubs — Chui ches rmnnnnnnr Baptist Circles Meet The Elizabeth Hale circle of the First Baptist church met Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 with Mrs. VV. B. McCraw. There were nine members present, three visitors and one new member. Mrs. McCraw, circle chair man, presided. After the business, Mrs. Richard Brasington sang a solo. Mrs. Floyd Hensley was in charge of the program. The subject was “Southern Baptist Work the Works of Him that Sent us." Mrs. McCraw gave the devotional with selections from John s gospel. Those taking part were: Mrs. B. C. Blankenship, Mrs. 0. R. Robertson, Mrs. Fred Davidson and Mrs. Hens ley. Others present besides those mentioned were: Mrs. George Mc Elrath, Mrs. Rag^n Reed, Mrs. Averv Buchanan, Mrs. J. H. Mc Kinney, and Mrs. Albert Reed was the new member. Mrs. McCraw served refreshments during the social hour that followed. The Neale Young circle met at the home of Mrs. Edison Allen Tuesday night at 7:30, with ten members present. After a short business session Mrs. Allen read the devotionals. Mrs. D. L. Shaver presided during the program.
