Mrs. Philip Clark, chairman of the book selec tion committee, save a preview of books that may be selected this year. Mr- Hubert Clapp was pro gram chairman. She presented Mrs. W. H. McMurray Sr., who gave a most interesting talk on best sellers since 1886 to the pre sent. time. The hostesses served a dessert course to those present: Mr'. Hal MoKinnev. Mrs. Wendall Patton.
