C. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jollay and her grandparents are the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Jollay who reside at “Hide Away Cottage” here. Mrs. Jollay is in Summerville for a visit with Rebecca, her mother and Ted. Mrs. Thomas Raughton returned last week from a visit of several weeks with relatives in Alabama. Mr. Raughton is a patient at Vet erans hospital. The Rev. J. N. Binford re turned Tuesday from Louisville, Ky., where he preached Sunday morning at Immanuel Baptist church in that city. Mr. Binford’s first pastorate was at Immanuel 43 years ago. The occasion was the dedication of improvements cost ing $110,000. The Rev. Charles Jollay preached at the First Baptist church, Black Mountain, Sunday morning in the absence of the pastor, who was in Louisville, Ky. A good example for others. “Just fine,” said Sue Perry, a student at West Hampton college, Richmond, Va., when asked how school is treating her this second year of her college life. Sue is home for spring holidays and a brief respite from study hall and class room. A leader in many stu dent activities, she is engaged in church and campus religious work, being a member of Baptist Student Union council at West Hampton. She will return Sunday and be on hand for classes Monday morn ing. Mrs. E. Y. Moore returned Wednesday from a visit with Miss Tillie Bultman, Florence, S. C. While away they visited the Azalea gardens at Charleston with other friends. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert M. Craig, Lincolnton, were in their cottage on Royal Gorge road last week. The Rev. and Mrs. J. J. Hatcher are at home after five months spent at Monte Vista hotel, Black Mountain, while their house was being moved to a new site making way for the new highway. Mr. and Mrs. J. L.
