Norman Gamache and fiancee, Miss Geraldine Yunger of Au gusta, Ga., and Miss Lucille Gamache of Atlanta, Ga., spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gamache on Riceville road. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gamache will be visiting their son and fam ily, W. J. Gamache, at his home in Newport News, Va., for sev eral days. While there they will go aboard the luxury liner USS United States which will be open to the public on Saturday. W. J. Gamache is a draftsman and de signed the children’s playroom and helped to design the ballroom aboard the ship. Bill Berner, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Berner and a Junior at N C. State college returned home' June 3. While he is here the Berners plan to take a trip over the Blue Ridge Parkway. Bill will leave June 20 for Fort ning, Ga.
