They have both been active in all phases of church work and in civic activities. He has been a member of the Lions Club and the Masonic Lodge in Missouri for a number of years. They are both members of the Eastern Star, and Mrs. Jeffers served as secretary of that organization. They are both musicians, and Mr. Jeffers has taught music in the public schools.
