'Buff" is expecting this group of boys to be one of the fastest in the county. Mrs. Wade and her capable stafl prepared a delicious lunch or Wednesday before the Thanksgiv ing holidays. The menu consisted of turkey pie, cranberry sauce mashed potatoes, green beans, peat salad, rolls, ice cream, and milk It was well worth standing in line for such a meal. Several students from Black Mountain attended the county Beta club meeting at the Biltmorc gym Monday night. The meeting was in the form of a square dance for the purpose of getting acquaint ed with the other Beta members in the county. The young people gave a play under the di rection of Mrs. Curtis Hall. Those in the cast were Wilma Rice as Mrs. Lee, Curtis Hall as M>. Lee, Clara Ann Pickens as Mrs. Tan ner, John Wayne Duncan as Mr. Fanner and Ted Hall as Timmy Tanner. The Adult Training L’nion of the Buckeye church with their families enjoyed a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving evening in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Me Klrath.
