Mrs. MacKenzie brought Indian clothing on one evening and dressed models to illustrate how the clothing was worn. Eddie and Jimmy C'rumpler modeled boys' clothing complete with draped turbans. Julia A n n Dickens showed a girl's costume, and Mrs. M C. Dickens served as a model to illustrate how the sari is drap ed and worn by Indian women. Among the many interesting and beautiful articles loaned for the four evenings of study were a handmade tray intricately inlaid with tiny bits of wood and ivory to show elephants in a spring set ting in a woodland scene, a papier mache bowl closely resembling cloisonne, and a cerulean silk scarf embroidered in mythical Indian designs in thread of gold. These were sent by Mrs. W. D. Weatherford from among the gifts brought her by her son. who has worked and travelled in India re cently. Attending the study courses were: Mrs. H. W. Sanders.
