Our attendance was PS for Sunday school. , Mrs. Charles Clay gave a very interesting talk about Brazil and 1 showed some slides Wednesday 1 night. We learned that the peo ple in Brazil are either rich or j very poor with very few in the middle class. Children are not al lowed to go to school unless they wear at least one shoe. A lot of their contacts made with the chil dren are at birthday parties since birthdays are very important to them. The slides were very inter esting showing a beautiful country with lovely flowers. In the coun try their work is done in the old way of doing things, for instance, beating one’s clothes clean by the riverside. They have large mod ern cities. Mr. and Mrs. .1. A.
