Church Luncheon
The MYF of the State Street
Methodist church entertained the
Scandinavian Caravan with a cov
ered-dish luncheon Thursday, July
18 in the Fellowship hall of the
church.
The Caravan, composed of four
girls and one boy from Norway,
Sweden, and Finland, visited dif
ferent churches in this area dur
ing the past week. The members
of the Caravan are Miss Llisa
Kaijala, the counselor, of Finland,
Miss Margaretta Carro of Swed
en, Miss Aste Gabrielsson of Fin
land, Miss Birgitta Ahlbert of
Sweden, and Thor Pytte of Nor
way.
Following the luncheon, the Car
avan members and some of the
MYF members went on a tour of
the assemblies at Black Mountain.
Approximately 25 attended the
luncheon.
