Multiply that by all the thousands of communities in America and you get some idea of the place which the fair sex have built for themselves in this nation. —R— OPEN HOI SE FOR WBMT We and all members of the staff at Radio Station WBMT were surprised when the crowd started coming shortly after 1:00 p.m. Sunday to pay their respects and to inspect the new plant. Then along about the middle of the afternoon we were amazed at the huge num ber of our friends and well wishers who just “kept com ing” when it seemed that ev erybody had already been there. To say it was a great success would be using mild terms. It was a sensation. All of us appreciate the great interest shown by our friends in coming and the in terest displayed by young and old in the operation of a radio station. The kind words spok en by our friends meant much to all of us.
