Bea's Beauty
Shoppe Has New
Modern Look
1 1 Tin.' completion of the re
modeling of Bea's Beauty
Shoppe makes this popular
place one of the nicest and
most modern in the Valley.
The entire building has been
renovated, including paint
ing. removal of a partition
which divided the two main
rooms, new tile for the floors,
and new' lighting fixtures, a
series of fluorescent tubes the
entire length of the ceiling in
the working and drying areas.
In addition there are new
chairs throughout.
At the present time there
are seven operators to accom
modate the current business,
with two more already sched
uled to start sendee for the
summer months. A new ser
vice for the community, for
those women who live out of
town, or for last minute de
cisions. is the drop-in-without
appointment. There is always
one operator who will be free
to fill this duty.
In spite of the completely
new look of the shop, only two
Monday mornings wras it neces
sary to close the place be
cause of space needed for the
workmen.
In addition to the regular
beauty parlor work there is
also a room to the rear of the
shop in w’hich Stauffer reduc
ing methods are employed, a
lounge for the girls who are
employed there, and a stock
room.
There are shelves filled with
attractive items of china, glass
ware, and jewelry on display,
making up a gift shop which
is also operated by the versa
tile Mrs. Glover.
