While in Washington they were house guests of Col. and Mrs. Donald W. Nofri. who are friends of long standing from the time both families lived in Chicago. Col. and Mrs. Nofri are now residing in Washing ton. In New York they visited Radio City, Music Hall, Rocke feller Center, and saw the fa mous Music Hall Rockettes in the production of “Glory of Easter.” Mr. and Mrs. Pete Earle and children, Sandy, George and Tommy of Orlando, Fla., are spending this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Wright. Dennis and Gerald Garton, who arrived recently from England to spend several months here with their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Garton. are spending this week in Charleston, S. C. Richard Hamilton SN, Sher man Jones RMSN, and Ronnie Romano RMSN, of Charleston, S. C., spent the week-end with Richard’s mother, Mrs. Belle Hamilton. All three boys are assigned to the USS Moale. Mrs. Mary M. Nee of Chi cago spent last week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence J. Brady of Grovemont. Miss Sarah Thompson and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thompson have returned to their home on the Montreat road after spending the winter at Lake Worth, Fla. Miss Pat Sawyer of Alex andria. Stanley Garland, Jr., left Sunday morning for Fort Jackson, S. C., where he will be stationed for six months as a member of the U. S. Army Reserve.
