General conference will be held at the Mills Chapel church Friday night at 7 p.m. All members are asked to be present. We had an interesting visit or with us in our Bible class a few weeks ago, a Mr. Wilhelm retired art teacher from New York. He talked with us con cerning his work in the Jewish school, and how he is using his art ability in serving God. On one occasion he stated some one had asked him to paint a picture for their church, but he told them there were so many other things for him to do he simply couldn’t find the time to do it. However this stayed constantly on his mind. In going about his daily work he could still hear the words being asked to do this painting for God’s house. “That’s when I knew I could use my art in serving God,” he said. We were happy to have him wor ship with us, and will look forward to having him again. Miss Cora Lee Stepp spent Saturday night in Salisbury with Mrs. Christeen Jenkins and daughter Phylis.
