The scripture verses on the
board at the Wilhelm home
are selected by Wayne Wil
helm and Rev. Robert Clayton.
They choose a short verse
that can be read quickly as
people pass. The verse is
changed each week. The child
that get on the school bus
near the board have memoriz
ed these verses for the past
six weeks and Tuesday they
will take a written test, quot
ing the verse and giving its
meaning. Mr. Wilhelm will
grade the papers and Wednes
day each child will claim his
paper. The three best papers
will receive a prize. All the
children participating will have
a social hour at the Wilhelm
home.
Mr. Wilhelm said “To be
sure they know I am fair in
grading the papers, I asked
them not to put their name
on it. They claim their paper
by recognizing it. My own
children will not take the test.”
Mr. Wilhelm is a former
teacher in the schools of New
York City. He is now an artist
for the Presbyterian Journal.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm, Chris

The clean freshness of springtime in your

You merely set a dial and the same, com

“climatizes” your home as it filters and fresh

Using no fuel except electricity, the heat

Before you build, buy or remodel, ask your
