The Junior Woman’s Club met Tuesday night, Aug. 14, at the home of Mrs. Mar cus Begley. Members voted during the business meeting to donate $100 again this year to the Children’s Home in Greensboro. This home is sponsored by the North Car olina Junior Woman’s clubs. A fall fashion show will be held in September in order to raise money for this worthy cause. Chamber Of Commerce ‘51 Membership Drive Will Be Conducted Wednesday. The annual C of C membership drive will be conducted bet ween 9 and 10 A.M. Aug.22, the directors have announced. H. B. Sabiston is chairman of the membership committee composed of all directors and others interested in the pro motion and welfare of the town of Black Mountain— From all sides come reports of increased business this sea son. Much of this increase, C of C officials believe, is the result of the large and intensive advertising cam paign which has been con ducted this spring and sum mer in more than 100 news papers in the South. io uuests uaii uuring Mc Call Open House.
