Church News Next Sunday will be obser ved as White Christmas Day in Swannanoa First Baptist church when the members will take food and clothing to be given for the needy families in the community. The choir of the church went carolling on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the W. N. C. Sanatorium. Free-Will Baptist Tomorrow night (Thurs day) the Youth Choir of the church will go Christmas car oling for the patients at the YAH at Oteen. All young people will meet at Homey Heights church in West Ashe ville at P:30 p.m. The church will give their annual Christmas program this Sunday evening at 7 o’clock. The play. “ A Gift For The Christ Child” is un der the direction of Mrs. Hazel Rice. Presbyterian Evening Circle No. 1 met with Mrs. Lester Conley Monday evening for their regular Bible Study on the Beattitudes taught bv Mrs. W H. McMurray. Sr. Mem bers brought gifts for stu dents at the Juvenile Evalua tion Center.
