Mountain Woman's Club next Wednesday, November 10, at 2:30
., ii, m the education room of the Black Mountain library to hear
Miss Melissa Thomas speak on the subject of the Carver Optional
School. Miss Thomas is the principal and a full time teacher in
his recently formed school. Mrs. Milton Hoyt, Education
Chairman of the Club, is in charge of arrangements for this
program of keen community interest.
Hostesses for refreshments are Mrs. A.D. Flanagan, Chairman,
Mrs. D.M. Tate, Mrs. M.H. Warner, Mrs. H.E. Allen, Mrs. Anne
Harrison, Mrs. Carl Beust, Mrs. David Floyd, and Mrs. R.C.
Moss.
The Executive Committee will meet on Monday, November 8,
ai 10:00 a.m. at the BlacK Mowtain Savings and Loan.
Woman's Club members are reminded that annual dues, if not
