Club News Gray Eagle 4-H hosts talent show Grey Eagles 4-H of Blade Mountain had fun being the host group for the annual Talent Show of the Buncombe County 4-H Clubs. Our mem bers were greeters, stage hands, decorators and clean up crew. Since our theme was “4-H is Taking Off,” we decorated with hundreds of balloons and pictures of hot-air ones. The loud popping of balloons thrown from the balcony at the end was a fitting finale to the fine show. We want to give our sincere thanks to: Mr. Dellinger, Black Mountain Middle School Principal, for making the gym available; Ken Kindley, Mary Robinson and Irene Ruff, our 4-H Extension Agents, who worked hard to help us; our judges, Miss Shirley McIntosh and M r. Chester Bullman; our leaders, Mrs. Kathy Harman, Mrs. H.E. Allen and Mrs. Sarah Bullman. Mrs. Barbara Wright who kept the building open for us; Jeff Kaplan, our member-magician, for his de lightful act; and all the fine participants for their originali ty, hard work and talent. Many thanks to all for helping 4-H to “Take Off!” WELDING, HELIO-ARCING, AND BRAZING WRIGHT’S ENGINE WORKS 223 Lytle Cove Road Swannanoa, North Carolina 28778 704-686-5946 All Types of Metal Fabrication Trailer Fabrication and Hitches Installed Free Estimates and All Work Guaranteed located Behind the Ex-Cello Corporation and Across from the Freewill Church “NO JOB TOO SMALL” ^Chevrolet 9 9%^ 0 Jtf g \/ Available on all new Chevrolets, Chevettes, Cavaliers, Citations, 2 & 4-wheel drive S-10 pickups ; 1983 r CHEVROLET CHEVETTE Chevette Scooter Hatchback Coupe SCOOTER Floor Mats Body Side Mouldings AM Radio lift97 1 I Wpermo.
