Prior to the ceremony Mrs. Grady Lovelace sweetly sang “At Dawning’ accompanied at the piano by Mr, Grady Lovelace, who played the wed ding march from “Lohengrin'. The bride and groom entered together and Dr. Lemons performed the impres sive ring ceremony. The hall, parlor and dining room were artistically de corated with a profusion of peach bio; yoms, jonquils and plum blossoms. The soft glow of the candle- light made the scene one of beauty and long to be remembered. Mr. Lovelace softly played “To a Wild Rose”, dur - j I | I i ing the ceremony. The bride, who is very handsome and stalely, was lovely in a midnight blue satin back crepe and coat to match with squirrel trimmings. Her hat was a small model of black and accessories to match. Her bouquet was an old fashioned shower bouquet of brides roses and valley lillies. SOUTHERN PREPARING TO HANDLE PEACH SHIPMENTS Two mdes of “passing” side tracks are t„ he built on the Yadkin road be tween Salisbury and Norwood in or der to accommodate the large peach shipments that are to be handled over thi/ road during the coming season. It/-s estimated that 1,600 car loads of peaches from the famous North Caro lina orchards will b-' handled over this line during the season.
