Spring Is Just Around
The Corner
“Fcr man can 3how thee naught so fair,
As Nature’s varied marvels there,
And if thy pure and artless breast
Can feel their grandeur, thou a:t blest!”
——Heman
To most people, Springtime is a season
of exhilaration and a symbol of hope. A t
every hand may be seen metaphoric resur
rection. 1 Juried for months beneath the'
leaves and silt and winter’s snows, little
dark seeds quicken to life* and burst forth
in a riot of color and beauty.
Dewy cobwebs stretched from bush to
hush, overnight, become Nature’s anten
nae, broadcasting the glad news that
Spring is here.
Every man will want to steal off to
some place “where a stream shines clear
beneath an aged tree, where the foxglove,
over the water’s glass, is born3 downward
by a bee;” he will want to breathe deeply
the fragrant air, and feel new life course
through his. veins.. . 7?,
Spring brings with it the*promise of a
new harvest. Before the harvest, the seed
must be sown. Are you giving proper
thought to your own harvest time? If not,

There is no better investment than a
savings account with any one of our four
offices. A savings account of one dollar,
or a hundred, or a thousand dollal% is al
ways worth the amount of money you paid
into it, plus the interest it has earned.
Can you say as much for bonds arid
stocks? '
You can build your account on terms
to suit yourself, and when it is most con
venient.
Can you do that, with other invest
ments?
You can draw your money at vour
pleasure—you do not have to wait for “a
better market.’’
Do you feel that secure with other se
curities?
Your first “payment” (deposit) will
draw interest, whether or not you continue
regular deposits. Interest is added to your
investment at the rate of four per cent,
compounded each three months.
Isn't it a good investment?'
At one of the branch offices in the
county ten new Savings Accounts were
opened in one day this past week.
Some people are waking up to the im
portance of Saving—Are you?
