There being plenty of apples this year some people are determined to show thrift by not allowing this fruit to go to waste. According to Deputy C. II. Hinson, and Policeman Leonard and Sigmon, they found some kind of a fluid out in the Balls Creek section, known as apple brandy. But for the fact that there was a furnace and copper worm and still found along with the brandy the officers might have thought the fluid cider or vinegar. A bicycle was also a part of the equipment found besides a gallon of new brandy. The folks who owned the apple product, and outfit were away from home, anil are unknown to the officers.
