State College Eleven.
Raleigh.*— While torrential down
pours have kept the State sound in
doors, the Tech coaching- staff has uti 1 -
lized the time by putt-nrr the young
sters through “- kuH practice” foil .w
ed liy rigorous setting up exercises.
The showing of the new men has
been especially gratifying. McAuley,
1923 Freshman l ack, and Austin, who
played quarter on last year’s yearling
team, have made a very favorable im
pression.
The latter has been shifted to end.
He handles passes unusually Well and
although he is rather light his de
fensive work is above the average.
McAuley gives every evidence of de
veloping into a hard running, shifty
back.
Fred Logan played tackle on last
year’s scrub team, the Logan family,
of Shelby, being represented on the
varsitv by his brother, Randolph, who
earned a letter at left tackle.
It looks like Fred will come through
this year. His early season work i
impressive. The y« iingsler weighs 211
pounds and lie is learning to use hi?
bulk to advantage.
Charlie Austell is another product
of Shelby high who i making a
strong bid for a regular job in the
backfield. He was on the squad last
year but did not make his monogram.
—- Au«tnll—Uy unqne.t innnhiy._ore of

taking his frtotball mighty seriously
this year ant! :t will be hard to keep
him off the team.

SUNBURN
A day at the beach, the soft,
springy sand, a dive and a swim in
cool, sparkling water, forgetful of
the burning rays of that bail of fire
in the sky. It’s glorious while it
lasts.
But those burning rays did their
work. Their fire is on your arms,
your shoulders, your neck. Clothes
are a burden, every move is painful,
every action is torture.
Swab LICARBO on that sunburn.
Away goes the soreness, out goes
the fire. A slap on the shoulders
brings a laugh instead of a cry of
pain.
LICARBO makes the day after a
pleasure, the day berore a fond
memory. Get LICARBO from
your druggist and laugh at sunburn.

side hurt less and I began to

ten months. Cardui acted as
a fine tonic. .. I am well now.
I have gained ten pounds and
