Letters in the dead man's pockets revealed that he went to Charleston from Parkersburg to investigate the drug situation in that territory. In his wallet was found several papers with .-mall (juanities of a white pow der in them. Inquiry among attaches at the federal court building reveal ed acquaintances of the dead man who spoke of him having been an ef ficient officer with a reputation for industry and soberness. He had ap peared in court here as a witness in cases he had helped in working up. In his wallet were found newspaper clippings relating to cases that he had appeared ,n. Chief of Police John Britton, who viewed the body before the coroner arrived, expressed belief that death resulted from a heart at tack. Buick Builds Two New Coach Models J. Lawrence Lackey, local Buick dealer has received .one of tlie new model Buick coach cars now being manufactured by the Buick factory. This is the first time the Buick com pany lias ever manufactured a coach and the demoftstratibn car which Mr. Lackey has received is attracting considerable attention and much fa vorable comment. These models are made to retail for $1,445 and $1,675. Both have six cylinders, and self lu bricating engines.
