Chieoca Club.
At Mr.. 0 M. Mali's twaotiful homej
which has been a!l remodeled and re
decorated inside recently, the Chicora
club held its tri-monthly meeting!
with Mrs. Mull as its hostess. Th*>
rooms were thrown together and with
their elegance and the lovely potted
and growing plants, made a rare scene
of beauty. Quite a number of the
members took advantage of the beau- ■
liful ur,shine and assembled at this!
meeting. The program was most in
teresting having for its subject: “Edu-j
cation”. After the roll call and current
event, Mrs. W. F. Mitchell in the ab
sence of Mrs. James L. Webb opened
the program by reading Mrs. Webb's j
paper on “Henry Adams”—this was
followed by rMa. Thomas Paul Webb
who gave an interesting presentation
of “Brander Matthews”. Mrs. T. W.1
Eheitoft then concluded the program
with one of her delightful paper, it
being, Herbert Spencer. The hour was
then turned into a social one and while
conversation was being enjoyed among
the members, Mrs. Mull assisted by
Iter mother and sisters served the
most elaborate and delicious refresh-*
meats. j
