SHELBY, N. C. C. R. WEBB APPOINTED PILOT GENERAL AGENT FOR WESTERN NORTH CARO LINA. HEADQUARTERS AT SHELBY. Mr. Carl R. Webb has just, been given the appointment of General Agent for the Pilot Life Insurance Company in Western North Carolina, with head quar ters at Shelby and offices in Lineberger Building. The position of general agent for a life insurance comoany calls for unusual ability and training in the life insurance business, the general agent being com plete charge of and wholly re sponsible for production in his particular territory. Mr. Webb is especially well qualified for the position of genera! agent, and the company considers itself fortunate in securing his ser vices. THE PILOT Mr. Webb’s decision to repre sent the Piiot in Western Caro 'nia was greatly influenced by the fact that the Pilot is a North Carolina company which for years has followed ^he practice of investing largely in North Carolina property, thereby hav ing an important part in the development of our state. ( More and more the people of Carolina are realizing the im portance of keeping their insur ance money in the good old North Slate, and with the ser vice of the Pilot Life Insurance Company at his command, Mr. Webb is in a position to offer the people of western Carolina a complete line of personal pro tection with a home company.
