Rev. Rush Padgett brought to the pupils of the South Shelbv school a '•cy worthwhile message Monday •orriag. Mr. Padgett read 11 verses: s-m the 17 chapter of John and i ; used the 3rd verse which says: •‘And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true Go/, and .Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” He told pupils assembled that Jesus in this chapter was speaking of a higher life—life eternal—and * he greatest thing for them to know i, Jesus and we could learn to know Him by reading the Bible, by trusting Him and by prayer.
