School Youngsters At Washington In Held Day Success The first field day in t’le his tory of the Washington school wns held on Monday, May 2nd. Every child in the'sehool was* keenly in terested and a large number parti Hpated. The events were made tvea more attractive by prizes beiny of fered. Charlk Austell, Holly Eskridge, Zeno Wall and Gilmore Singleton. The nrogrnme. were most unusually interesting and were enjoyed by all. The play and the glee club concert were most decided successes. SUNDAY SERVICES FOR PRESBYTERIAN The service Sunday morning*, at ill -o’clock at, the local Presbyterian church will be in lino with the spirit of Mother’s day. Rev. H. N. Junior and Senior Christian Endeavors will, meet at 7 p. m., and the adult prayer groups at 7:15 p. m. This church invites the public to all its services.
