Among our visitors at Sunday school Sunday were Misses Madge Mauney, Ruth Dixon. Misses Jack son. Saunders and Miss Tabyaslo of Limestone college. Miss Taby aslo is an Italian by birth and made us an interesting talk on her native country. She wore the Italian costume and this made it the more interesting. They were the guests of Mr. and Mrs, S. S. Mauney. Our ladies VV. M, S. held their first meeting with Mrs. Monroe Poston. A very interesting and helpful program was rendered. The union will meet the first Thurs day afternoon after the first Sun day in January at 2:30 with Mrs. S. S. Mauney. The Kings Mountain Sunday school association will meet with us the first Sunday afternoon in Jan uary. We arc expecting a large crowd and interesting program. Large numbers of cur people have flu, but no serious cases. Mr. Tom Cornwell *<• at home from Chapel Hill for the holidays. Mrs. Robt. Elliott of Poikville is visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Gold. Misses Beatrice and Thelma Cab aniss spent the week-end with Miss Sara Hamrick of Lattimore Miss Maraget Cornwell, teaching in Rutheford county, spent the week-end with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. C. ft. Spangler visited Mr. and Mrs. T P. Caba niss Sunday. We welcome back into our com munity Mr. and Mrs. Yat& Len nons of Boiling Spring Mr. and Mrs. Athel Cabamss have moved into their newly built home. Several of our people attended the funeral of Mrs. Brady Dover at Pleasant Hill last Saturday. Our teachers and officers meet each Thursday night at 7 o'clock, come out.
