Owtngs of the Methodist rhurch officiating. The bride lived In Shelby with Iter parents and was educated in the Shelby city schools and later at Rock Hill. The couple will make their home in Charlotte after a sltofti honeymoon trip. P. T. A. Meeting Of Marion 8L School. The Parent Teachers association of Marlon street school held their regular meeting Wednesday after noon at 3 o'clock with Mrs. J. W. Doggett, the president, presiding. A delightful musical program was reQlMrM by the primary grades. In th* business meeting the following officers were elected: President, John Schenck, Jr,; rice president, 'Mrs. Frank Hoey; secretary. Miss Lucy Hamrick; treasurer, Mrs. Harry Speck. Mrs. Doggett present ed the school petition, which to signed by everybody. There was a discussion about the importance of sefteetlpg the school board. The prise of one dollar went to the third grade, with Miss Mary Neal Davis teaeher, Icr the greatest number of X a rents present. A large crowd was present and much interest shown. Mesdames Georg* and Durham Moore were joint hostesses to the members of the music and art de partment of the Woman's club, en tertaining at the chib room Wed nesday afternoon.
